Hily Review 2026: Honest Rating & Expert Verdict
Quick Verdict
Hily (originally "Hey, I Like You") is an AI-powered dating app that emphasises compatibility scoring and video features. The app uses machine learning to analyse your swiping behaviour and conversation patterns to refine match suggestions over time — similar to Zoosk's behavioural matching but with a stronger emphasis on video content. Hily Stories (short video clips), live streaming, and video chat are all integrated. The free tier is generous (including messaging), and paid plans (on the US App Store, $14.99 for a week of Hily Premium or $24.99 for a week of Premium+) add visibility and advanced features. Hily works well for users who enjoy video-forward dating and AI-driven matching. However, it lacks the brand recognition and user density of Hinge, Bumble, or Tinder in English-speaking markets, and profile quality is variable.

It differentiates itself through machine-learning-driven compatibility scoring, video-first features (Stories, live streaming, video chat), and a gamified experience that includes icebreaker games and quizzes.
