Wishdates invites you to "Build meaningful connections with people who share your mindset" through conversation [1]. Joining and searching are free. Chatting is not [2].

Who runs it

The terms name Valesnova Limited, at Georgiou A 83, Germasogeia, Limassol, Cyprus [2]. The Cyprus company register lists Valesnova Limited as a private company, registered on 22 November 2024, with status "registered" [4]. The terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with binding arbitration and a waiver of class actions [2].

How it charges

Wishdates uses credits, which you buy with real money, in most cases in US dollars [3]. Letters, virtual gifts, stickers, photos and videos cost credits each time. Chat is charged per minute [2][3]. "Chat Gems", one per minute of chat, sometimes come as a bonus with a purchase and are used before credits [3].

There is no public price list. The terms say prices are shown on your profile page or on the page of each paid feature [2]. The terms describe one-off credit packages and do not mention a subscription or automatic renewal [3].

What its terms say about profiles and messages

• The terms say the platform "is designed for entertainment" [2].
• The company says it is "not in a position to make any guarantee as to the quality, duration, motivation of the Users" [2].
• The site may send the same opening messages ("Icebreakers") to members it matches at random [2].

Refunds and closing your account

We found no Wishdates app on the App Store or Google Play. The UK Advertising Standards Authority's rulings search returned nothing for Wishdates or Valesnova Limited, and searches of the US Federal Trade Commission and for court action found nothing naming them.
